New Prop

View from my seat as the note taker
Jim got a new prop for the boat - for about $450 dollars!  Apparently, we needed the prop for the following reasons:

*  As an extra (back up prop)
*  To get the engine RPM's up to where they should be operating
*  To get more speed and hole shot (speed out of the water)

So last nite we did some experimentation with the old and new props.  We ran the boat and I noted speed at certain RPM's.  Then we changed the prop and did it again.

The results were inconclusive so far because we did not have enough time on the water.  But we have gained RPM and top end speed.  The lake was too busy to do an accurate test.  Stay tuned for results.
