Hot Creek Fish Hatchery

The hatchery is at the base of these mountains
We love fish hatcheries and went to the largest one in California - Hot Creek Fish Hatchery.  It is located on Hot Creek which is a thermal creek and provides the perfect temperature to raise fish.

The creek is one of the best places to fish in California and is beautiful!  You can actually see the hot water bubbling up in the creek.
