Dickens Fair - 2017

We joined Uncle B, Auntie D, Jack and a couple of Jack's friends at the Dickens Fair this past weekend.  It is something that their family likes to do each year and something we have never done.  Grace was working so it was Jim, Drew, me and my folks.  For those that don't know, it is a re-creation Victorian London at Christmas time.

There was caroling, dancing, food, drink and many people in period clothing.

It did not take long for my boys to find the bar and order a Guinness!  They also imbibed in some whiskey tasting which they said was bad!

Apparently this creepy version of St Nick is at the Fair every year....and this year Auntie D got a pic! This one is a keeper!

We enjoyed a demonstration of Irish and Scottish dancing.

Overall it was a fun time but not something that I think we would do over and over.
