Street Performance

The highlight at the end of G's 2nd year of guitar is a street performance in Santa Cruz.  I volunteered to drive so I got to see the fun!

We met at the school at 9:15 am, stopped at Starbucks and headed over the hill.  The kids warmed up a little in the parking lot and we headed over to our performance spot.  The teacher went first and then each student did a 3 minute performance of the song of their choice.  G chose the new new Humble and Kind song by Tim McGraw.  All the kids did a great job and it was super fun to see people stop and watch.

After the performances we went to Burger for lunch!  YUM!  Then we took these goofy pics in the parking lot.  They dropped one of the girls before we got a good pic!

Next up was a quick visit to the Boardwalk - just enough time for a ride for the girls and an ice cream for the teacher!  And a goofy pic for me.

I was super glad a took the day off to attend this event.  It was a lot of fun!
