My sweet girlie is getting old. She is 12 years and 4 months old and it seems like she slows down everyday. There are some mornings where she is walking behind me instead of next to me or in front of me. On those mornings, I unhook her leash and let he walk at her own pace. But then there are other mornings when she is rearing to go and has energy for a long walk. The good news is she still wants to walk every morning!
She had blood work done this week to check her liver and kidney function since she takes pain meds every day. Everything looks good and we will keep her on the meds.
