Sweet Astrid turned 1 on December 12, 2020. That means we have about 6 more months with her. When she goes off to professional training, this is what I will miss about her:
- The blank stare she has when she is tired or when she wants you to throw her ball
- Her constant interest in getting you to throw her chicken, her chicken leg or a tennis ball
- Her only having two speeds - on or off
- The way she backs up when it is time to put her gentle leader on
- The way she goes to sleep as soon as it turns dark - even if that is 6 pm!
- The way she bounds when she is happy - especially first thing in the morning!
- Her love of morning yoga with me
- Her incredibly skinny body - all bones!
- Her walrus whiskers
