For those who have been following along with Gracie's struggles with reading, I have an update. Last week she finished 6 weeks of the literacy academy which is an afterschool reading program at school. She went with other first graders and all they worked on was reading skills. The outcome: She jumped 3 reading levels in 6 weeks and is where she needs to be for the March report card! Here increased skill is unbelievable and she is so proud of herself.
To celebrate her success and Drew's grades (all A's and B's) we are celebrating as a family by going to see the musical "Stomp".
