Puppy Shennanigans

When we first got Hop's I tried to imagine the trouble she would be getting into for the next 6 months!  I am an experienced enough dog owner to know that I should be expecting, chewed up items, destroyed plants and general messes.  But in my imagination, I never guessed these would be her first three puppy shenanigans stories:

1.  Stucco Incident:  Last week Jim brought Hops to work with him and had her tied up out front of someone's house while he installed a new front door and repaired some stucco work.  All was well....until he was up on a ladder spreading stucco and suddenly felt like something was not right.  He looked down and Hop's was sitting right below him with a glop of stucco on the top of her head!  She had chewed thru the rope she was tied up with and came and sat by him!


2.  Mailman Incident:  After the "stucco incident" Jim put Hops in his truck until he could clean up and deal with her.  After a little while he hears the mailman yelling, "oh, dog, dog"!  Hops had jumped out of Jim's window to go greet the mailman!  Luckily neither the mailman or Hops were injured!


3.  "O" Incident:  A couple days after the two incidents above, Hops was at home with everyone and UPS came and dropped something off on the porch.  Ahi and Daisy despise the UPS guy so they started barking.  Hops got all fired up and started running laps in the family room.  At one point she jumped over Grace who was on the floor working on her laptop and knocked the "O" key off the laptop key board.
