Hanging in the tree

Grace and I found a baby bird on our walk tonite.  It was a nestling meaning it had just hatched and had no feathers at all. 

We brought it home and did some research on what to do with it.  The wildlife rescue center said to make a nest and put in the tree where you found it.  It said that it was likely the parents were out hunting for food and would be back.

So we took a strawberry basket, lined it with dried grass and hung it in the tree right above where we found it on the sidewalk.
