Quick update: Astrid did not make a match in team training.
There were 14 dogs and 4 people so it was unlikely - especially because she is a quirky dog. In fact, we got her monthly report card and its about the same. She is highly distractible, has low motivation and doesn't walk well on a leash! It's going to take a skilled confident handler to match her with.
Regardless, we think she is perfect and are rooting for her to find the path she wants in this world. And if she does get released, we have mixed feelings on whether it happens now or after a couple more months of training so we can use her skills!
