Lydia has Landed

The first nite with the new baby went well.  She went out at 12:15 am to pee and poop and then slept until 4:40 am and did the same.  Typical puppy schedule.  She was a little discombobulated because she literally knows nothing:  not her name, not where to potty, not where her water is, not how she gets fed....
As per usual, Hops loves her!  She is playing with her and wants to be in her penned in area with her.  Lydia has hunted around to see if Hops is a milk source!  Even Oak, who is not usually too keen on the babies, was totally doing zoomies around her.   Ahi was growling at her while she howled for 10 minutes while we ate dinner.  She was super tired and had a hard time transitioning to sleeping for a little while, so she made a big ruckus and that was SUPER offensive to the weener!
It looks like she got her ear tattoo the day G picked her up because it was still really wet.   She also smelled like pine shavings (their potty spot at the Canine Early Development Center) and dirty dog!

The timeless puppy photo with Snoopy on the headquarter's campus.

The trip home from Santa Rosa which is just over 2 hours, started with peeing in her crate and howling and then led to her being sound asleep on her back!   And then ended peeing in her crate while getting off the freeway!  That was a long trip for a baby.
