CCI Graduation

Last Friday I was pleased to be able to attend the CCI Team Training graduation and tour the facility.  Grace was able to join me.  We drove up early Friday morning (it took 2 hours and 40 mins!) and took a few minutes to watch the dogs in the dog park before going on a tour.

After the tour, we had lunch with the 13 graduates and their puppy raisers.  It is the first time the graduates got to meet their puppy raisers and there was not a dry eye in the place!  Especially touching was the "open mike" time in which puppy raisers, graduates or any of the other guests could give thoughts and thanks.  It was truly inspiring.

After lunch we went to a big auditorium where we watched the graduation.

But before the graduation they did a procession of all the dogs that were being turned in to start their graduate training.  There were 41 of them and I had the honor of placing medals around their necks as they crossed the stage - truly and honor!

The whole day was humbling and inspiring!
