We were driving from Hawthorne NV to Bridgeport CA and decided to take dirt roads so that we could check out Aurora, an old mining town.
Well....we took a wrong turn or two and what should have been about 30 minutes took 3 hours and sent us down scary dirt roads with lots of brush.
My truck will never be the same!
But we were not worried because we had food and drinks. Our plan was to drive til dark and if we were not out yet, stop for the nite.
I will be cleaning dust out of the truck for months.
