On our second day in Albion, we explored south of us which means: Elk, Manchester and Pt Arena.
First we walked on the beach and found this Pacific Sea Nettle which is a type jelly fish. There were tons of them all over the beach. And Hops insisted on sniffing each one!
Then we moved onto Pt Arena Lighthouse where we learned about its history and more importantly about the lighthouse dog and cat that live there now! The dog is Tasi and the cat is Arena Mina. We got to see that cat but not the dog - who was on a lunch break.
There are some houses on the property that you can rent out. That would be a cool spot -- but not as nice as where we are staying!
Next we went down to the Pt Arena Pier which is the tiniest pier I have ever seen! We walked out to the end and watched a couple boats maneuvering around - see below.
We picked up some lunch and headed back to our house and ate it on our deck watching the ocean and the beach. Then we chilled for awhile before taking a hike from our place down to the beach. It was just a stunning day!
