What type of dog is that?

Got the funniest comment on my blog:

"Hi there, interesting blog! I was searching for rim fire aftermath photos and came across yours. I'll be working for USFS this summer studying the recovery of plants post fire. I am actually wondering what kind of dog is the big white one? I have never seen markings like that. I hope your cabin survived the fire. :) Loriel"

For Loriel:  She is a Yellow Labrador who I painted spots on last summer with human hair dye.  Good luck with your summer work - sounds interesting.
