This is a shot from Crane Flat lookout in Yosemite. It is about a 1 and 1/2 mile hike up to the top to an elevation of 6750 feet. It is a working fire look out in the summer and what you can see here is the helicopter pad. This is our favorite short hike is Yosemite. It is cool because in the winter before the big snow comes, there is not too much snow to hike it but enough snow to play in along the way.
