When G and I went to the farmers market a couple weeks ago, we heard on the radio that there was an animal in the road way on 120 which is where we had just been. And then they went on to say that the animal was a bear! Although we had just driven by the location, we did not see it - but we did pass two CHP's going in that direction.
On the way back from the market, we kept our eyes peeled and G spotted it in the dirt above the road. It looked like the CHP had tied a rope to it and dragged it up there.
It was a beautiful bear that looked to be young. Such a shame.
