South Africa - getting ready to go

Grace is starting to get ready for her mission trip to South Africa.  Along with getting herself ready, she is collecting items to take with her to donate to the needy community that they are serving.  Some friends have been so moved by the story of the work she will be doing that they have gone out and bought new clothes to donate to the children in South Africa!  THANK YOU to them!




And we have my mom shopping for items at the Thrift Box to add to the goodies.  And she is also in charge of finding an extra suitcase to hold all the stuff.

My admin at work gave us a whole bag of soaps, lotions, toothbrushes, etc!

Twelve of the girls in the community where G is serving are going to college next fall.  This is a big deal not only that they are going to college but that they are GIRLS who are going!  So VC has donated 12 computers - one for each of them - to take to college with them!  G gets the honor of bringing one over for them!
