Kitchen Update

So we have been spending a lot of time trying to figure out what to do at the end of the cabinet to hold it up.  Previously there had been 2 dowels holding it up and we could put them back  But they are pretty ugly.   We had discussed using a column or a column fully or partially covered with rock.  But nothing sounded right.  So finally we decided we wanted NOTHING holding it up.  Jim is going to work on hanging it from the ceiling.  So the look would be what you see in the pic above.   That means nothing too heavy in the top cabinet....no gold bullion, no cannonballs, etc.
