Acts Project

 
In 8th grade the kids have to do a big project for their bible class on the "Acts" in the Bible.

The Acts, is the fifth book of the New Testament and  outlines the history of the Apostolic Age.

The Acts tells the story of the Early Christian church, with particular emphasis on the ministry of the apostles of Simon and Paul, who are the central figures of the middle and later chapters of the book. The early chapters, set in Jerusalem discuss Jesus' Resurrection and Ascension.  The later chapters discuss Paul's conversion, his ministry, and finally his arrest, imprisonment, and trip to Rome.

Grace did her Acts Project by making Christmas ornaments of each of the Acts.  She also decided to make Jesus cookies as a little extra.  We made them last weekend at the cabin with the help of Tina and Marty.  We made vanilla and gingerbread Jesus'.  There was a lot of giggling while decorating the cookies!
