Here are a couple pics of Gracie's lake swim. Jim went with her as an escort as she was the youngest swimmer out there. This was not a planned event. We just happened to be at the lake and found out they were doing a swim across the lake. Gracie looked at the lake and said, "I can do that!". What makes a 9 year old think they can swim across a lake? I looked at it and said, "no way could I do that!".
I was pretty impressed that she did her first "open water" swim at age 9!
