Crabbing season opens on November 11. Jim and Drew spent Saturday working on the crab pots so they can drop them the week before. There are 15 pots in all. They worked on the pots, the ropes, the buoys and the bait jars, I was going to help until Drew filled me in that his hands smelled like old dead fish when he touched the pots.
