Cherry Lake July 2021

It was time for our Annual TNDC Cherry Lake camping trip and as always, it did not disappoint.  We had amazing weather and clear skies (smoke from wildfires is always a possibility). We were lucky enough to have Mari, Kyle, Avery and William join us as they were in town for a family visit.  It was so wonderful to be able to have the kids with us.

Jim and I went a day early and secured our camping spot.  Since it was just us the first nite, we cooked dinner on the boat.  It was a HOT evening and we were so happy when the sun went down!

We also called this Astrid's Farewell Tour because we got her turn in date for Aug 26!  She loved it and could not have been happier getting to swim every day.

Someone came by in a kayak over the 4th of July and took a pic of these two on the SUP -- just floating and watching the world go by.  The pic ended up on a neighborhood Facebook page.  

4th of July Weekend 2021

Kaylene and her mom, sister and sister's husband came to the cabin for the first time for the 4th of July weekend.  It was a weekend of sun and fun.  Friday was a Don Pedro trip. Saturday was a day of floating on PML followed by fireworks.  Sunday we picked up breakfast burritos at Tangled Hearts and hiked up to the look out tower for a picnic breakfast.  Then in the afternoon, we floated on PML followed by corn hole in the evening.  Everyone left on Monday after an early morning fishing trip down to the lake.

Burrito Hike!

We tied up with the Kunde's both days.  They were a hit as Al bbqed hotdogs and sausages on their boat!
